Redmine Cloud Hosting

Quick, Simple, and Scalable Redmine Cloud Hosting

What is Redmine Cloud Hosting?

Redmine Cloud hosting gives software developers the ability to use an issue tracking and project management system that offers many Trac features, as well as support for:

multiple projects
role-based access control
time tracking functionality
Gantt charts
a calendar view
user self-registration

Redmine is cross-platform and cross-database because it was written using Ruby on Rails. With Redmine, developers can gain access to a wealth of useful features described below.

Support of multiple projects (and subprojects)
One Redmine instance can manage all your projects
Users can be assigned different roles and permissions on each project
Project can be public or private, depending on the level of access you grant
You can enable and disable modules for individual projects
Project parts can be organized and managed as subprojects of a main project
Track issues
Statuses and issue types can be defined by you

The web-based administration interface lets you set up workflow transitions for each role and issue type

Track time
Create a simple report to see issue type, time per user, activity, or category
Enter time at the project or ticket level
Define custom fields
Issues, time-entries, projects and users can all be custom-defined
Available formats include: text, boolean, date, drop-down lists, integers, and checkboxes
Like regular fields, they can be used as filters and displayed on the issue list
Diff viewer and repository browser
Each project can have existing repositories attached
Diff and annotate (aka blame) viewer
Browse contents, view and search changesets
Support
Authenticate users against multiple LDAP
Account creation can be on-the-fly for users in the directory
Users can self-register
Accounts can be activated manually (by administrators), automatically (no confirmation required), or through an auto-generated URL sent via email
